I live and in Germany near Stuttgart and love fractals, 3D and photography.

I have worked/played with Fr0st, Apophysis and other fractal tools. But currently my favorite tool is Fractron9000.
The main reason for this decision is the renderspeed of F9000. It supports rendering on the GPU(Graphics Processing Unit) and renders an 2400x1600px image in approximatly one(!!!!) minute in full quality. This is much faster then current CPU´s can to this. The first result in fullscreen resolution you can see in seconds!

If you have a graphic card that supports "CUDA", you should test this tool and give it a try.
CUDA is exclusively supported by NVIDIA Graphic cards, but F9000 supports OpenCL, too. Therefore it should work with AMD GPU´s.

3D is a great passion. I have played a long time with some 3D programms. Actually i work with Blender.
The new cycles render engine is great and produces very cool results. The Cubes image([link]) was created with blender.

One of my another hobbies is the photography. I love macros! There are so much details in the nature, thats great.
